Describe your project in brief

I got them to do a 2D explainer for a child education project. The concept revolved around how to spell words. Each letter was animated to meet the need for visual aid. Overall, the scripting was cool as it aligned perfectly with the tone and voice of our brand. Similarly, the storyboarding process was also really smooth. Except for a couple of hiccups after the final render, everything was managed smoothly throughout.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

One thing in particular that I would endorse them for is their project management. Describe your project in brief

My project was a whiteboard explainer that would highlight the pros and cons of paper or fiat money. It had to be a 2-minute video, but keeping in view the content (specifically the visual aid) that was required to complement the concept, we took it close to 150 seconds. I’m glad that everything from scripting to storyboarding went quite well. I had wanted the render to run and be done more quickly. However, since it’s the most crucial aspect of the job, it took a few days over my deadline. Again, all that didn’t run into regret as the final launch was awesome.

I would appreciate the creative work that they did on my project. The design team and the animators put in their best to make the video stand out.

BuzzFlick is an animation studio that was founded in 2016. It provides all kinds of video animation and editing services to brands looking to make a mark on the world using videos.

As the Managing Partner, I am responsible for bringing to fruition the vision of the company and synergizing the various departments, such as marketing and production, towards that vision.
What is the story behind starting this company?
BuzzFlick’s story is one of a traditional bootstrapped startup. We started from a studio apartment, a bunch of digital artists, designers, and animators, who wanted to do more than just make videos.

We wanted to create an animation studio that was dedicated to helping brands create compelling narratives through video marketing.

Thus, we decided to commit to our passion and start an animation studio, that provides a complete lifecycle experience to brands, from research and video production to video marketing.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
BuzzFlick’s business model is all about a lifecycle experience, which is only possible with a complete in-house team. From sales and marketing to production, all of our resources are full-time employees, working in-house.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
The video animation industry operates as people who know how to animate and take on projects like an e-commerce order.

BuzzFlick’s biggest selling point is that we’re experts that do more than just complete a project. Our marketers conduct a comprehensive competitor and industry analysis for our clients and add to their ideas, in order to create the maximum amount of buzz with their videos.

We cater to all kinds of industries. Sports, personal trainers, the financial industry, the automobile industry, artists, and e-commerce are just some examples of the industries we’ve worked in.

What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
According to our data, our customer satisfaction rate stands at around 95%.  This includes only customers that have had to face absolutely no problems during their customer lifecycle.

To fulfill our customer’s needs and requirements, we employ extensive research, analysis to make sure we’re employing the latest strategies.

Our Project Managers ensure extensive documentation of requirements, such as a Scope of Work(SOW) document, to ensure there are no delays or discrepancies in the work we do.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Each of our clients is assigned a dedicated Project Manager and Account Manager to ensure that they have a point of contact 24/7, in case of queries or issues that might arise.

Clients are also introduced to me, in case they need a direct line to a partner, in extraordinary situations.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We follow a fixed price model for each project. The billing structure is broken down into two phases. Phase one is a 50% initiation fee, that kick starts the production process.

Phase two, which entails the payment of the other 50% of the cost, is initiated after the client approves the final version of their video.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We have a minimum budget requirement of $1000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
Our price range starts from $1000, with the biggest project to date worth $15000.
