What Users Like The Least

While the overall experience was positive, the fast-paced environment sometimes made it challenging to balance priorities. However, it also taught me valuable time management and adaptability skills.
What I like the least about Gravity Engineering Services is the lack of job portals, which makes the recruitment process more time-consuming. Additionally, during the holiday month in the USA, the reduced volume of requirements can slow down the flow. But this is not permanent we know after December everything will be on track for sure.

Overview:

Danske Bank is a Nordic universal bank, headquartered in Copenhagen, offering a full range of banking services. The Danske Bank integrated account was worth $200M yearly revenue. This entire revenue was classified as e-revenue for IBM and needed an online commerce strategy shift to all digital e-Ordering abilities.

Business Objective:

To implement e-Ordering ability for Danske Bank through a seamless integration between e-Procurement system Microsoft Dynamics Axapta and IBM fulfillment systems
Enable 35K annual POs to be processed digitally with Purchase Order, Purchase Order Response, Dispatch Note, Planned Delivery & Actual Delivery
Sunset the existing Mainframe application and successfully migrate all legacy databases
Implement new portal for reconciliation

Solution:

Conducted Stakeholder Interviews to understand the legacy systems, transaction channels, tools and assets
Depicted all As-Is request for service processes in IBM Blueworks live
Segregated processes for IBM and Non-IBM orders to create two priority queues for different batch processing
Segregated queues for standardized services and complex requests to route it through 2 different priority channels for IBM fulfillment centers.
Carried out a detailed study on the data systems from legacy applications to do an impact analysis of sunsetting the systems

Process engineered the e-ordering ability for Danske to create Orders faster and cut down time on department level approvals by implementing e-Procurement online with all workflows. The impact was nearly 65% faster incoming orders to IBM.

Overview:

McDonald's is the world's largest chain of burger fast food restaurants, serving in around 119 countries. This particular project was aimed for McDonalds Germany along with its local trading partner Mercoline responsible for processing all O2C data exchange. McDonalds Germany Inc, headquartered in Munich, operates with approximately 1240 restaurants out of which nearly 1100 are connected via remote data transmission to head office.

Business Objective:

To enable digital data exchange of financial documents like Purchase Order, Invoice, Credit Memo through B2B gateways.
e-Invoicing to reduce Day Sales Outstanding so that realtime data exchange can happen
Consult the client on migrating from the legacy EDI systems to IBM unified platform powered by SAP
Mediate between McDonalds, Mercoline and IBM Stakeholders to execute the project within 5 months of timeline

Solution:

Conducted Stakeholder Interviews to understand the legacy systems and associated challenges.
Created detailed As-Is process charting of all Order to Cash processes on Websphere Business
